Becoming a member of VIEW

There are many benefits to being involved with VIEW.

VIEW is recognised as the voice representing the views of Qualified Teachers of the Visually Impaired (QTVI) in relation to the education and welfare of children and young people with a vision impairment.

VIEW membership enables you to:

  • Access areas on our website created for certain professional groups:
    • Publications of work carried out by QTVIs and others
    • Information produced via our committee, groups and sharing best practice groups
    • A network of support and information for members
    • VIEW newsletter which highlights key issues and gives regular feedback from consultations
    • Events diary
    • Question and answer forums on particular issues of interest to QTVI, etc.
    • An opportunity to become involved with small pieces of research on relevant issues to the members and by doing so to provide evidence from the field to support concerns and issues
  • Receive 6 copies per year of Insight Magazine (RNIB) – supporting Blind and Partially sighted Young People
  • Support for the production of publications, small projects and research
  • Have your views heard at a range of committees and groups with links to:
